Women 2.0 partner FounderLY recently sat down with Alicia Navarro, the London-based founder of Skimlinks about growing an international organization on a shoestring. Her idea to simplify affiliate marketing tools now serves Technorati, Internet Brands, and Ning, and her story about pitching while backpacking is a fantastic example of being creative to get things done (which, in her case, means making publishers money for their already existing content). Skimlinks received Series A in funding in 2009.
