Aside from the unveiling of Google’s new 7-inch Asus-made Nexus tablet and Project Glass‘s skydiving demo at Google I/O yesterday – don’t miss Women 2.0’s own Director of All Things Offline Sepideh Nasiri as she speaks on the Google I/O session “Designing for the Other Half: Sexy Isn’t Always Pink”.

Google I/O session panelists include Jess Lee (Co-Founder & CEO, Polyvore), Leah Busque (Founder & CEO, TaskRabbit), Margaret Wallace (Founder & CEO, Playmatics) and Tracy Chou (Backend Software Engineer, Pinterest).

As women control 80% of consumer spending and drive the majority of user activity on many of the largest social networks, companies and startups should think about attracting and engaging women. Did you know that female gamers over 55 spend the most time online gaming among any demographic. The panel will discuss technologies winning over female users that aren’t so pink.
