- Are Demo Days “beauty contests in bikinis for investors”? So says, an annoyed Steve Blank. Do you agree?
- Like everybody else in tech we spent some time this week pondering the implications of the new rules on crowdfunding and AngelList syndicates. VC Semil Shah had one of the most thoughtful reactions, while Om Malik went for big picture thinking.
- Melinda Gates highlights some incredible ways tech is being used for social good. Are we doing enough good with our gadgets?
- What would a city designed for women look like? The Atlantic probes the different urban design needs of men and women.
- *Sigh* Another conference, another gender kerfuffle. When will we be able to cover conferences for their actual content without having to complain they’re less friendly to women than they should be?
- At least the future looks bright judging by the incredible girls participating in Google’s science fair. Plastic from banana peels? New ways to diagnose cancer? These girls are amazing!
