Could your startup be a game-changer in tech and make a difference in the beauty industry? Then you might be a good fit for L’Oreal USA’s Third Annual Women in Digital “Next Generation Awards.”
L’Oreal’s “Women in Digital” program aims to highlight the successes of women working in digital marketing, technology and IT careers. Through these awards, L’Oreal hopes to bring attention to developing technologies that are created by women. Women 2.0’s CEO and Co-Founder Shaherose Charania was a judge and member of the L’Oreal advisory board for the First Annual “Next Generation Awards” in 2012.
“We view the Women in Digital program as a natural extension of L’Oreal’s mission of ‘Beauty for All’ – our mission to bring beauty to all people – as these young companies will empower and drive women to innovate and push the boundaries of knowledge to become leaders in the technology space,” said Rachel Weiss, vice president of digital innovation at L’Oreal USA and chair of L’Oreal USA Women in Digital.
Each year, since 2012, Women in Digital gives awards to companies they believe are game-changers in technology and have created innovative business solutions or products that highlight the unfulfilled needs of consumers.

In addition, the companies will also have the opportunity to pilot their technology with L’Oreal USA.
