Awesome news female-founders! If you make it to our top 10 selection of finalists, StartUp Legal Garage will provide a variety of legal services for an entire year. Learn who are they and what the package entails below.
What is Startup Legal Garage?
The Startup Legal Garage, an academic program of the Institute for Innovation Law at UC Hastings College of the Law, provides free legal services for early-stage startups with a focus on minority and women entrepreneurs. Under the supervision of leading law firms throughout the Bay Area, UC Hastings students work directly with clients providing them with first tier corporate and intellectual property legal services.
Their PITCH Prize Package:
Includes a variety of legal services for an entire year and priority to re-apply to the program the year after:
- Acceptance into the program for the academic year from August 2014 to April 2015
- Free legal services for corporate matters, such as incorporation, trademark registration, service agreements, review of financing documents, terms of service, and other intellectual property matters.
- First priority to re-apply for the 2015-16 year
Remember – you do not need to be a PITCH competition winner – just need to be a top 10 Finalist to receive these PITCH prize package.
